(no public access) Whitney Beach is one of the widest and most beautiful beaches on the island. 2) Boating (first come) inexpensive docks on Bishops Bayou, with a quick stroll to the famous Jewfish Key sandbar and literally out to the gulf for sunset in minutes. You are also a very quick ride to dock up to some of the islands most popular restaurants. 3) Dog lovers look no further (cat lovers too) as Whitney beach allows up to 2 large dogs (verify community rules). 4) Positioned perfectly on the island to be able to walk to so many shops and dining establishments as well as a liquor store, fitness center, a local bar with pool, a morning speciality cafe and breakfast out back at a bistro table overlooking the Bayou. 5) The layout of the community is on expansive land, (no hotel or high-rise feeling here), it feels more like a Polynesian resort with the amazing landscape. 6) COMMUNITY!!!!
